2010-02-10
Springdale, AR – Springdale Public Schools were the big winners in
Saturday afternoon’s basketball game between Springdale High School and
Har-Ber High School. 66 Federal Credit Union Business Development
Officer Lance Eads presented a check for $1,832.07 to Springdale High
School Principal David Kellogg during half time at the game. The money
was generated by 66 Federal Credit Union’s School Spirit Debit Card
program.
“Every time a 66 Federal Credit Union member uses a
Springdale or Har-Ber High debit card, the school system receives a
portion of the interchange,” explained Eads. In addition, members who
open new checking accounts with a school spirit debit card receive $25
for themselves, and the schools receive an additional $25. “66 Federal
Credit Union is proud to be able to help our local school district in
this way,” Eads continued.
